Inspiriert von David Lachapelle, getragen von der Idee eines inszenierten, in die heutige Zeit übertragenen Marienbildes und beeinflusst von der an sich sehr alten Idee eines Tableau Vivant, machte ich mich an die Umsetzung dieser Bildkonstruktion.
Als Vorlage diente mir die Altarmalerei um 1720 „Maria (ohne Christuskind), zusammen mit anderen Engeln“ der ehemaligen Klosterkirche Maria Himmelfahrt in Bayern, Aldersbach (Kreis Passau).

Snapshot Poetry

A snapshot is popularly defined as a photograph that is „shot“ spontaneously and quickly, most often without artistic or journalistic intent. The term derives from the snap shot of hunting. Common snapshot subjects include the events of everyday life and the like.
These photographs, which may look like snapshots, are built out of 3 to 4 different pictures in photoshop. In this context I‘m wondering how people receive these photos. How sensibilised are recepients nowadays?
